Summer Associate Recruitment
DWG&P accepts applications for summer associate positions from 2L (day) or 3L (evening) students for summer employment in our Washington, D.C. office. Summer associates at DWG&P perform research, draft client memoranda, draft pleadings, support attorneys at FERC, in court and at settlement conferences and participate in telephonic and in-person client conferences. The small firm environment at DWG&P allows summer associates to perform tasks substantially similar to those of a first year associate.
Successful candidates will have a demonstrated interest in administrative law, energy law, environmental law or communications law. DWG&P seeks motivated students with law review or moot court participation who maintain a minimum of a B+ average or are in the top half of their class. DWG&P is committed to a diverse work environment and encourages minority applicants.
